Think the world ahead

Radboud University asked Total Design to develop a campaign to recruit students across the faculty. That means getting potential Bachelor's and Master's students interested in Radboud University in Nijmegen, regardless of which study they would like to pursue there. Then the question is: Why should you consider the Radboud University? Why would Radboud suit me?

In recent years, Radboud University has worked with Total Design to create a distinctive positioning based on the theme “You have a part to play”. The University wants people to make a difference in society from their studies. And students want to be meaningful after their studies. This positioning was therefore the starting point in answering the recruitment question.

The recruitment campaign’s theme is “Think The World Ahead.” From different cross-faculty themes, we indicate what students can do to make a difference in the world, in which a study at Radboud University can help them. In this way, an activating layer has been added to the positioning, with which Radboud will recruit students.

The way “Think The World Ahead” manifests itself. It is a large typographic “window,” behind which the University outlines a future perspective. This format allows each faculty to highlight its themes. In a cinematic animation, a contrasting image moves from a situation to a future perspective in a matter of seconds. And we end with a call to action towards bachelor’s degrees, Master’s studies, or an Open Day.
