IT service provider Bechtle chooses Total Design for campaigns
Dutch IT service provider Bechtle has chosen Total Design as the agency for its new corporate campaign as well as its employer branding campaign. The campaigns themed ‘Not hip. Well happening’ will be launched in September, at the same time that Bechtle introduces its new corporate identity.
Bechtle is a leading IT partner. The company provides both public and private organizations with scalable and flexible IT solutions, with offices in Eindhoven and Hoofddorp. Bechtle is distinguished by its down-to-earth outlook, focused on effectiveness in everything it offers its clients. This has led to the campaign theme ‘Not hip. Well happening’.
This is Bechtle’s first nationwide campaign in the Netherlands. They selected Total Design after a strategic and creative pitch earlier this year. The campaign will be rolled out on radio, outdoor and social media, among others. In addition, the campaign will be translated into internal and online branding activities.
The new payoff perfectly sums up what Bechtle stands for. They do not run after the latest hypes, but focus on sustainable and effective IT solutions that really work and help customers get ahead. ‘Hip’ is a fad, while ‘happening’ stands for relevant and impactful. And that is exactly what Bechtle strives for.

In the dynamic IT world, where developments are happening at lightning speed, it is crucial to embrace the right innovations at the right time. Every technological advance brings opportunities, but not every development is an immediate improvement. Being too late can mean missing opportunities while acting too early can lead to inefficient implementations. In the new campaign, Bechtle is therefore engaging with the future, focusing on relevance and implementability. After all, customers need to rely on IT that works now.
Milo van der Meij (Total Design): “We are happy and proud of our new customer. A large player with its own image, which deserves to be better known. Glad that we can help make a difference!”
Niels Heijnen (Bechtle): “In working with Total Design, we found a sparring partner with knowledge as well as a fresh, creative outlook. A partner who is not afraid to stay away from the conventional in our market, but who understands very well what is going on.
This has led to a campaign concept that stands out from the crowd and clearly communicates what we stand for. Future-proof IT that works now.”
