Implementation of Firda's Brand Identity
Firda emerged from the merger of two major ROC educational communities, each with multiple locations and their own distinct appearances based on legacy identities and the specific programs offered at those locations. Total Design was tasked with creating uniformity across these various school buildings, placing Firda’s new brand identity at the core. At the same time, we needed to respect the existing character of the programs, ensuring they could retain their unique identity.
The Assignment
Total Design was asked to implement Firda’s brand identity throughout the school buildings, including general signage like wayfinding. The goal was to reflect Firda’s brand values—personal, societal, and professional development—within the physical spaces of the schools.
A unique aspect of this project is the collaboration with the newly constructed football stadium in Leeuwarden, where Firda has been allocated a dedicated wing. This highlights Firda’s philosophy: fostering personal, professional, and regional growth from an integrated perspective.
Conclusion
The aim of this project is to embed Firda’s new identity into its various locations while balancing uniformity with the individuality of each program. The Cambuur stadium location serves as the first showcase, providing a blueprint for rolling out the branding and signage across other sites.
