Annual Report 2024

Challenge

Philips, a global leader in health technology,

set out to publish its 2024 Annual Report as a fully integrated, multi-channel experience.

The objective was to implement the Philips brand identity within the Workiva platform and deliver the report in multiple formats: an interactive PDF, an ESEF package, an XHTML report and a 20-F filing for the SEC. The reports needed to reflect the company’s strategic focus on improving health and well-being through meaningful innovation, while ensuring consistency across all reporting-related communications.

The transition to Workiva as a new tooling platform added complexity and required a
future-proof design approach.

Idea

TD Cascade, in close collaboration with the Philips brand management team, developed a design that visually expressed Philips’ ‘impact with care’ narrative, integrating compelling imagery and an enhanced set of essential infographics.

We implemented the full design, layout and content connection within Workiva, delivering both an interactive PDF and a responsive HTML landing page.

In addition, we updated all visual assets, including infographics and key information elements.

Result

Philips successfully launched a visually engaging and strategically aligned annual report, supported by a consistent design system across all reporting documents.

TD Cascade continues to support Philips with design updates and tooling integration as reporting evolves.
