Annual Report 2024

Challenge

EY Netherlands – one of the Big Four providing consulting, assurance, tax and transaction services – set out to publish its first fully integrated Annual Report for 2024/2025.

The aim was to optimize the reports’ readability while implementing the renewed brand identity as launched by EY Global in 2024. The report also needed to reflect EY’s new local strategic focus, “All in” which dominated its year in review. The new strategy embodied EY’s goal to use its knowledge and expertise to help clients chart their course with confidence in a rapidly changing world. In doing so, EY focuses on combining long-term value for clients, own workforce and broader society, and sustainable financial results.

The goal was to develop a fully revamped future-proof annual report in an interactive, screen optimized pdf using Tangelo software as tooling platform for its publication.

Idea

In close collaboration with the EY brand and communications department and its sustainability team, TD Cascade designed and developed a new – fully brand aligned – report in landscape mode to improve usability and readability on screen. The new report needed to integrate compelling imagery to reflect EY’s strategic focus and a streamlined set of essential ESG related infographics and KPI dashboards.

TD Cascade was also tasked with optimizing the reports’ overall structure, connecting all required financial content, and providing new board photography by organizing a photo shoot on location.

We implemented all design and managed all layout within Tangelo to deliver an innovative, interactive PDF of the new report.

Result

EY Netherlands successfully published a compelling and strategically aligned annual report, supported by an engaging motion graphics on social media – developed by TD Cascade – to announce its publication.

TD Cascade continues to support EY to enhance its reporting the coming years.
